Invisible Canon long sleeve

€55,00

The nine items showcased on the shirt shed light on an overlooked aspect of Yugoslav design history. Most of these objects were a significant part of everyday life (like Janja Lap's glassware) or showcased good construction and architectural practices (as seen in the Murgle settlement). However, not many knew that women were behind the design or co-creation of these items. Unlike their male counterparts, who received recognition, female designers were often defined by the famous male professors they studied under. When they were acknowledged, it was typically for projects they did with their husbands, like the collaborative work of Marta Ivanšek and Majda Dobravec Lajovic.
